Dartnell Park

Dartnell Park is registered with the Land Registry Office as "Dartnell Road Wayside Amenity Area".
Croydon Council acquired the land in 1940.The maps show buildings located at the far end of the property.
1954
A V1 rocket hit near the Park during the second world war.
It hit the allotments which is now the location of the School.
The house next to the Park shows signs of damage from the explosion.
Several cracks and repairs are clearly visible.
